Jago: A Life Underwater started the Wildscreen Awards Ceremony night with five nominations in music, editing, sound design, people and nature as well as the cinematography category.  Jago went on to win the Panasonic Cinematography (small crew) Panda Award with the jury commenting that ‘the film stands out for its stunning imagery and variety of shooting styles, all brilliantly realised’.

This is Mark's first major award and it follows Jago winning the Grand Teton Award (best in show) at the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival in 2015. Mark shares the Wildscreen Cinematography Award with James Morgan (topside filming) and Benjamin Sadd (aerial filming).

As part of Wildscreen’s week of scheduled events David Royle of the Smithsonian Channel interviewed James Reed (Producer/Director), William Goodchild (Composer) and Mark (Underwater Cameraman) on stage at the Watershed in a panel discussion called ‘Leap of Faith: Making of Jago’ - click on the link above to view in full.
